presenting.

they say the fear of public speaking can affect up to 75% of the population.
I’m not sure who they are, but I say, hand me the mic!

I stumbled my way in front of the camera at a ripe old age of 12 when I started acting classes. Thank goodness those VHS tapes no longer exist
(if you’re a millennial reading this, that’s a videotape). During my Uni days, (when I wasn’t on one of my deferred semesters travelling overseas), I reported for a local online sports publication, WhoWonSA. I was just a girl, standing on the side of a footy oval with a microphone and video camera, interviewing players, hoping they wouldn’t notice I knew nothing about sport.

Many moons later (with lots of professional presenting classes, a Journalism degree and life experience under my belt), I wound up in Brisbane producing Juiced TV, the show made ‘by the kids in hospital, for the kids in hospital’. I then moved to Network Ten where I had multiple (most often ridiculous) roles on screen. Fast forward to today, I’m writing this from our caravan on a remote beach in WA, while filming 4WD 24/7’s new series, Off Grid.

If you’d prefer to read the long version of how I ended up in front of all these screens, jump across to my ‘about’ page. Otherwise, take a peek at some of the content I’ve presented for Network Ten’s Totally Wild and Scope, Off Grid and the Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Do you have a camera, but haven’t found the right person to stand in front of it yet?
